3. Pre-requisite files / required software

If you need to install any prerequisite files, click link on right to access the Downloads page where the following software can be downloaded:

  • Visual Studio 2015 C++ redistributable

  • ODBC 8.0.26 driver

  • PDF creator

  • WebView2 Runtime

4. Notes on Terminal/Citrix Server installs

Terminal or Citrix Server installs will need to be setup on the C:drive of the server the users will be connecting to - Reapit can not be added to a shared or network drive as this will cause performance issues
For example, if you have several servers load balanced, it will be the load balance servers Reapit needs deploying to

Users should have read/write access to the Reapit folder on the C:drive to allow auto upgrades, or Reapit will need direct access to the server to manually upgrade the build folder at the time an upgrade is released

ODBC, C++ and WebView2 Drivers will need to be installed on the server if Reapit is directly loaded from the server - if none, then driver installs needed on the users machine

The install folder below contains a full build ready to copy and paste into the C:drive of the server - if access is allowed, Reapit will automatically upgrade on first login
If not, please contact Reapit Support for assistance in applying an upgrade

Full server install

  • Click file on right

5. Installation FAQs

Do we have an MSI for Reapit that we can use?
No, we do not have an MSI install for Reapit - this is not possible due to how it is configured, as the application is copied to the local app data folder of the users profile

Can I access Reapit from home or abroad?
Reapit can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have it installed, good internet access and valid login credentials - please note that some countries will block access or experience significant performance problems which is out of Reapit’s control

Can I restrict users access to Reapit from anywhere? e.g. can I lock it down so it can only be accessed from my office?
Reapit can be locked down to secure access via IP whitelisting, so only connections via this IP will work

Is Reapit a web-based application, or do you have web-based app?
Reapit is not a web based application, data is stored on Reapit’s cloud server but the Reapit application requires an install as the interface UI to access your data

Where is Reapit data stored? i.e. will this save to my machine?
If hosted by Reapit, all data minus HiRES images are stored on the cloud server, no Reapit data will be stored locally

Can I use Reapit on MAC of mobile device?
Reapit is a windows based application so is not supported on MACs, Android or iPads - however, Reapit Mobile is available, which is a scaled back version for mobile users with a web-based interface - click here for more information on Reapit Mobile, or speak to your Reapit Customer Success Manager (CSM)

Can I access Reapit with multiple accounts?
