Install Reapit (AgencyCloud / Reapit) & FAQs

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

This guide contains information on the following - click a link to skip to the required section:

1. Full installation

Includes pre-requisite files

  • Click on the link to the right

  • EXE will be Downloaded to your downloads folder

  • Double-click the EXE from your downloads folder to run the install

2. Quick installation

For use when you’ve used Reapit on your device before (as pre-requisite files will already be installed)

  • Click the link on the right

  • Click Install

Please note that the versions of Reapit offered above might be lower than the version currently in use within your organisation

If this is the case, continue with the installation as outlined above - then, after installation, when launching Reapit for the first time, inbuilt application control will automatically upgrade your version in line with the current version in use by your business

3. Pre-requisite files / required software

If you need to install any prerequisite files, click link on right to access the Downloads page where the following software can be downloaded:

  • Visual Studio 2015 C++ redistributable

  • ODBC 8.0.40 driver

  • PDF creator

  • WebView2 Runtime

It may be necessary to have administrator privileges in order to install the above software - if you do not have this level of permission, or are unsure, please contact your company’s IT support for assistance

4. Notes on Terminal/Citrix Server installs

Terminal or Citrix Server installs will need to be setup on the C:drive of the server the users will be connecting to - Reapit can not be added to a shared or network drive as this will cause performance issues
For example, if you have several servers load balanced, it will be the load balance servers Reapit needs deploying to

Users should have read/write access to the Reapit folder on the C:drive to allow auto upgrades, or Reapit will need direct access to the server to manually upgrade the build folder at the time an upgrade is released

ODBC, C++ and WebView2 Drivers will need to be installed on the server if Reapit is directly loaded from the server - if none, then driver installs needed on the users machine

The install folder below contains a full build ready to copy and paste into the C:drive of the server - if access is allowed, Reapit will automatically upgrade on first login
If not, please contact Reapit Support for assistance in applying an upgrade

Full server install

  • Click file on right

  • Click Download

  • Double-click the downloaded file to run the install

5. Installation FAQs

No, we do not have an MSI install for Reapit - this is not possible due to how it is configured, as the application is copied to the local app data folder of the users profile

Reapit is not a web based application, data is stored on Reapit’s cloud server but the Reapit application requires a direct install of the interface UI to access your data

All data minus HiRES images are stored on the AWS cloud server, no Reapit data will be stored locally
HiRes are advised to be stored locally due to their size and easy access

Reapit is a windows based application so is not supported on MACs, Android or iPads - however, Reapit Mobile is available, which is a scaled back version for mobile users with a web-based interface - click here for more information on Reapit Mobile, or speak to your Reapit Customer Success Manager (CSM)

See this guide for more information:
Running Reapit on an Apple Macintosh (Mac) device - using Parallels/similar

Yes you can - the credentials unique identifier is the username, which is the email address stored in Reapit

To have multiple accounts, you will need to have another unique email address created, please refer to your local IT to assist.

Reapit can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have RPS installed, with good internet access and valid login credentials - please note that some countries will block access or experience significant performance problems which is out of Reapit’s control

NOTE: For permanent use overseas an alternative to look into is having a VPN connection created that while overseas you can use to remove access a server in the UK. Doing this will allow your connection to be local and should help with access to RPS while overseas.

This issue will mostly occur if you are running the “Reapit Only” install publish.htm link in Chrome.
Recent changes in Chrome depending on what extension you may have will not be able to read the .htm extension and fail. To resolve this you will need to use a new browser like Microsoft Edge, simply copy and paste the installer link to EDGE and try again.
If this still fails, please contact support by logging a support ticket via the portal.

While running the Reapit FULL installation you may be presented with this error. The installation is advising the pre-reqs are being blocked and need to be manually installed.
Review your error on which pre-reqs have failed then go to www.reapit.com/rps-downloads to run the failed pre-req directly, once complete re-run the FULL installation setup again to complete your Reapit installation.
NOTE: The most common reason for this to fail is Admin Rights, should the manual install fail please contact your IT support for assistance.
