Additional contact types checked on internet registrations (portal leads) when searching for duplicate records - configuration option

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

A configuration option is available which ensures that when choosing to add an internet registrations lead to AgencyCloud and the lead is checked for duplicates, both the work and home numbers on the lead are added to the search (carried out before the new record is added)

When enabled, this means that the work and home numbers are checked in addition to the mobile number and email address which are already checked by default

By increasing the number of contact details checked before adding a lead, this configuration option decreases the chances of adding a duplicate contact to AgencyCloud, therefore ensuring better data quality

From Organiser:

  • Right-click over Internet Registrations (often shown in Overview panel)

  • Select Full results to view the internet registrations screen

  • Select the required lead (contact details are shown on right) and click Add (bottom right)

  • The search screen is displayed with Home, Mobile, Work and E-mail contact details for the lead already added to the Telephone/E-mail search field

    • Click Search

As seen in the example above, several duplicates have been found which should be checked by double-clicking each record to view the record in detail

Where no duplicates are found, click Add to create a new record for the selected lead
