If a tenancy is not able start or progress, it needs to be cancelled - as outlined below

Cancelling a tenancy is usually done when it is at the status of Arranging Tenancy - if a tenancy has already started, then the end of tenancy processes need to be completed, as outlined here

1. Change tenancy status to cancelled

From tenancy:

  • Click tenancy Status menu

  • Select Tenancy cancelled

2. Confirm tenancy cancelled

  • Click Yes

3. Tenancy cancelled reason

Where configured, after cancelling a tenancy, you will be asked to:

  • Enter the Reason

  • Add Comments, if required

  • Click OK

 Complete the cancellation reason

Select the relevant Reason & add Comments

4. Tenancy cancelled

The tenancy status is Tenancy Cancelled & the property status is to To Let - Available again
