Works order updates (12.130)

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

Various updates have been made for works orders from version 12.130+:

  • Tenancy end date shown in outstanding works orders list

  • Tenancy start & end date shown on works order screen

  • Access appliance, insurance & safety information from works order

Each update is explained below

1. Tenancy end date shown in outstanding works orders list

From the works orders list:

  • Ten End Date column is shown, displaying the tenancy end date, where available
To change column position, click and drag the column heading then right-click over column headings and select Save grid layout

2. Tenancy start & end date shown on works order screen

From the Tenant panel:

  • Tenancy Start Date and End Date are displayed

Where the tenancy end date has been confirmed and/or when a tenancy is set as periodic, this is indicated beside the End Date in the tenant panel

From version 12.132, the Notes panel becomes an Activity Feed, as outlined here: Activity Feed shown in works order (including emails sent, where configured)

3. Access appliance, insurance & safety information from works order

From works order, Property panel:

  • Click the icon to the right of the property address

  • The Appliances, Insurance & Safety tab of the property attributes screen is shown in Read Only view

  • All information added in the Appliances, Insurance & Safety screen on the property is displayed

  • Appliance and safety information are shown in grids, meaning the column headings can be used to sort and filter the information shown, as usual

  • From the Appliances grid, scroll across for the warranty expiry date and capped appliance information

To add/edit an information on the Appliances, Insurance & Safety screen, go back to the outstanding works orders list, right-click over the works order, select Show property, then access the Attributes screen on the property and add/edit as usual
