Set tenant arrears status - configuration option

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

A configuration option is available that allows a status to be set on tenant arrears

The arrears status set can be displayed in a column on the arrears screen - allowing grid functions to be used to easily sort tenants in arrears according to their arrears status

1. Add arrears status

From main menu, click Lettings/Rentals and select Chase Arrears:

  • Ensure grid is set to show Tenants arrears (top right)

  • Right-click over the required tenant arrears and select Set arrears status
    Options offered depend on business requirements (and are setup by Reapit Support)

2. View arrears status

From arrears screen:

  • Ensure grid is set to show Tenants arrears (top right)

  • Right-click over the column headings, select Pick columns and click Arrears Status

  • The new column is added to the far right side of the grid - click and drag the column heading to the desired position

  • Right-click over the column headings again and click Save grid layout

  • The column will now show when using the arrears grid again - grid functions can be used to sort or filter by content

    • To sort the list, click the column heading

    • To filter or group the list, hover over the right of the column heading and click the arrow

3. Clear arrears status

When an arrears status has been set, it can be cleared

From arrears screen:

  • Ensure grid is set to show Tenants arrears (top right)

  • Right-click over the tenant arrears and select Clear arrears status
