This article explains how to adjust the rent invoice amount for an invoice already raised. This should be used in circumstances such as adjusting any rounding differences or to correct rent raised at the incorrect amount.

Note that this does not change the management fee already charged.

For rent reductions or reimbursements, rent credit notes should be used.

1. Adjust amount option

From the tenancy screen:

  • Click View Transactions

  • Right-click the rent invoice and select Adjust rent invoice amount

2. Amend the amount

  • Amend the amount

  • Click Accept

The amended amount will then display on the Tenancy Transactions screen

If you have increased the rent, manually raise a landlord admin fee for the management fee that needs to be charged.

If you are reducing the rent amount, a credit note should be raised against the landlord management fees to reduce the amount the landlord has to pay.
