Update to existing security setting to allow/restrict editing of main office and/or shared offices on lettings property

An existing security setting for lettings properties which could be set to prevent a user from changing both the main office and shared office(s) has been updated to create two security settings

The two settings now allow/prevent a user from being able to:

Change the main office
and/or
Change shared office(s)

These two settings allow greater flexibility with office security on a lettings property by allowing a user to be set-up to change shared offices but not the main office (or vice versa)

The user in the example below is set-up to be able to change shared offices but not the main office

From a lettings property:

The Main Office cannot be changed, but the shared Office can

The default setting is to allow users to be able to change both the main office and shared office(s) unless set otherwise

If a user is restricted from changing the main office, they will not be able to promote a shared office to be the main office (via the star icon seen when hovering over the shared office name)

If, prior to version 12.186, a user's lettings property security setting for offices was set so they were prevented from changing both the main office & shared offices - from 12.186+, this prevention will continue, in that will not be able to change both the main and shared offices
However, Enterprise clients can contact Reapit Support to ask for one/both of these settings to be changed, as outlined at the top of this page
