Include batch reference in BACS/ABA file - configuration option

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

Two configuration options - useful for auditing purposes - are available for BACS/ABA files which will:

  • Display the batch reference (or BACS/ABA code) in the file name

  • Display the BACS/ABA code within the file (on each line)
Note that this option is only available when using a standard BACS/ABA file format

To enable one/both of these configuration options, click here to contact Reapit Support

Prepare the BACS/ABA file, as usual

  • When the confirmation message is displayed, click OK

  • Click View BACS file
    The file will be displayed

The BACS/ABA code is shown to the left of the title bar (e.g. LON21000005)
Where configured, the code is also shown in each line of the BACS/ABA file
