Display price per square foot/metre (sales properties)

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

A sales property’s price per square foot/metre is automatically calculated and added to the property attributes

Once entered, this value can be used on templates and brochures generated within the system

Having visibility of this calculation is useful for agents to see when comparing property for valuation purposes, as well as being of interest to prospective buyers

1. Add square foot/metre value

This feature requires a property price as well as a property measurement area to be entered

From sales property, Attributes panel:

  • Click edit (pencil) icon

From property Attributes, Measurements section:

  • Click the drop-down menu and select Square metres or Square feet
This determines the measurement unit used when calculating the price

  • Enter the relevant measurement(s) then close the Attributes window to save
This can be entered as a single measurement or as a range, as required

In this example a single measurement has been entered - when entering a single measurement it is recommended to use the minimum field for reporting purposes (see step 2)

  • The price per measurement unit is shown in the property Attributes panel

2. Report on price per square foot/metre

  • Select Property Report type and Sales then click Pick Property Criteria

  • Select Price Per Min. Sq. Ft. | (Sq. M.)
