A configuration option is available which allows branch receipts to be linked to a bank statement

A branch receipt is when a tenant or landlord has made a payment to you in the office or over the phone and this receipt has been recorded in the system - until the branch receipt is confirmed as being received in the bank, you are unable to pay this money out of the system - when the receipt appears on the bank statement, you can then link the receipt

1. Receipts from Bank Statement

Click Lettings/Rentals on main menu:

  • Click Daily Accounts Processes and select Import Receipts from Bank Statement

If you have un-linked branch receipts, the Link Branch Receipts screen will open when you first import the bank statement - if not:

  • Click Link Branch Receipts

  • As you link each receipt it will move to the Linked Branch Receipts section (below right)

If the receipt was previously marked as unknown, from Link Branch Receipts screen:

  • Click Statement Items link and select Show items marked as Unknown Receipts

If the amount received into the bank is made up of multiple branch receipts in the system:

  • Select each receipt on the right side of the screen

  • Once the items have been linked, they will show in the Linked Branch Receipts section

    • When the totals match, this will be confirmed in green

Once all branch receipts have been linked:

  • Click Post
