Send NRL6 certificates to landlords via email (UK only) - configuration option

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to UK only

A configuration option is available which allows NRL6 certificates to be emailed to landlords with an email address stored

For landlords without a stored email address, the standard method of creating the certificate to print out and post can still be used

To enable this configuration option, click here to contact Reapit Support

From version 12.170+, when sending an NRL6 certificate via email, it is possible to apply an email template to provide body text for the email, rather than it being blank - for more information, click here: NRL6 certificate email update (UK only)

1. Access tax reports options

From Lettings (main menu):

  • Click Landlord Tax and select Tax Reports

  • Use the arrows to select the required

After sending the email:

  • To send all remaining emails without checking them, tick Automatically email the rest of the certificates
All emails with certificates attached will be automatically sent
    OR

  • To check the remaining emails, click Next
    See next step

Click Preview and Print to display the email on screen as a PDF

3. Continue checking emails

  • The next landlord will be displayed - the options seen in step 2 will be offered

  • If a landlord does not have an email address, see next step

4. When there is no email address

When a landlord does not have an email address entered on the system, a prompt will be displayed

  • Click Yes

  • Word will open, allowing the NRL6 certificate to be printed

Please note that emails sent via this method are not automatically saved on the system
