Change landlord (no transactions)

Before changing a landlord on a property, all transactions must be cleared 

1. Check for outstanding payments

To ensure there are no outstanding payments to be made

From landlord:

  • Click Transactions (top left)

If the screen is blank, then the landlord record can be removed from the property safely

2. Clear current landlord

From property:

  • Right-click over Landlord and select Clear this property's Landlord

3. Add new landlord

From property:

  • Click Landlord - the Search Landlords screen is displayed

    • Use the filter option on left to search for the required landlord - this search is for landlord records only, to include contacts in the search, tick Include contacts (top left)

    • Double-click when found (or click Add to create new)

    • The landlord will be added to the property
