Permitted occupier updates (adding from a contact, converting to a contact & storing date of birth)
This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions
Two updates have been made relating to permitted occupiers as detailed below
Adding a permitted occupier from a contact record
An existing contact record can be used when adding a permitted occupier, plus a new contact record can be created from an existing permitted occupier
A configuration option is also available to ensure a minimum age for contact creationAdding date of birth
A permitted occupier's date of birth can be stored on the system
A configuration option is also available to ensure the entry of this is mandatory

1. Adding a new permitted occupier From the tenancy record:

2. Add occupier details This screen will be shown when choosing to add a New occupier name (outlined in step 1) As well as entering the occupier name (and any notes), you can now add their date of birth and relationship details

3. Convert to contact Converting an occupier to a contact can be carried out from the screen shown in step 2 or as follows From the tenancy record:
| A contact record should usually only be created for an occupier who is 18 or over - before converting an occupier to a contact, check the occupier's age (displayed on screen) Your system can be configured with a minimum age for contact creation (e.g. 18) - click here to request this |
4. Change tenant/occupier description Descriptions added by default (i.e. Add. Tenant 1, Occupier 1 etc) can be edited From the Additional Tenants / Occupiers panel:
