Option to use default landlord fees on a property - configuration option

A configuration option was introduced in AgencyCloud 12.139 to provide the ability to add landlord fees to a property without being associated to a tenancy, as outlined here: https://reapit.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RW/pages/1679753247

From AgencyCloud 12.141+, default fee types and settings can be set up (by Reapit Support), which can then be selected from a list when adding a landlord fee on a property

1. Accessing default landlord fees

From the property record:

  • Click Rent/Fee Details and, in the Landlord fees field (bottom right), double-click Add

  • Default fee options will be displayed
    Defaults are set up in system configuration (as required by your company)

  • Select the required default
    Or click Add New to add a non-default fee

  • Click Accept

2. Selecting a default fee

When a default fee has been chosen:

  • The Landlord Fee screen will be displayed showing the default settings for the default fee chosen
    In this example the Type, Account, Amount, Fee, Recur Every & Description have all been set within the default for the fee type

  • Add to the screen as required, such as the Charge type, Fee Start & End dates (for a Recurring fee)

  • Click Accept to save
