Prevent adding & editing certificates - configuration option

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

Two configuration options are available which, when enabled, prevent a user from:

  • adding a new certificate

  • editing an existing certificate

Either one or both of the above settings can be applied per user/group

When both of the above settings are enabled (i.e. the user cannot add or edit certificates):

  • From the property Attributes, Appliances, Insurance & Safety tab - in the Safety Checks, Insurance & Warranties panel, the add button (on right) is not available

    Users will also be prevented from creating certificates via the tenancy screen

  • Certificates can be viewed, but not edited
