28 day / 4 week rent period

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

A 28 day rent period (or 4 week) option can be selected on a tenancy or renewal and on an applicant record

1. Set tenancy/renewal rent period to every 4 weeks

From an arranging tenancy:

  • Click to the right of the Initial rent field and select p/4w

  • The Payable every setting below should also be changed to every 28 days

When changing the rent to every 4 weeks, the rent figure taken from the property will be changed accordingly - for example, if rent is being charged at £7,500 per month (taken from the property), switching the period to every 4 weeks on the tenancy will change the rent figure to £6,904.11

From a renewal:

  • The 4 weekly rent period will be transferred to the Rent frequency (but can be changed)

2. Set applicant rent frequency to every 4 weeks

From lettings applicant:

  • To the right of the Rent field, click drop-down menu and select Four Weekly

Rent periods that can be set on a tenancy/renewal:
Weekly (p/w), Monthly (p/m), Yearly (p/a) & every 28 days (p/4w)
