Restrict access to tenant details - configuration options

Configuration options are available that affect which tenant details fields a user is able to edit - a user can be prevented from editing all tenant details, or just some elements

From version 12.135, security settings are available which allow you to prevent one/some/all of the following areas from being edited:

  • Tenant name

  • Tenant address

  • Tenant phone

  • Add tenants/occupiers to a tenancy

  • Delete tenants/occupiers

  • Add, edit or delete reference/guarantor details

In this example:

  • the user is able to see the tenant details screen but is only able to edit the tenant address, all other fields are disabled or locked down for editing

  • on the tenancy screen, the user is also prevented from adding or deleting additional tenants/occupiers
